For a few weeks every few years, Canada sees hundreds of thousands of images of MP and PM candidates appear — from sea to sea to sea, the streets run red, blue, green, orange, and a sort of bleu clair. Some people take this opportunity to write, draw, wheat-paste, scratch, or otherwise vandalize messages of political opinion on to these newfound billboards.

And, don’t forget to vote! Even if you don’t like anyone in your riding, show up and graff the ballot — just showing up on voting day means the government needs to pay attention to you. They won’t know what you put on your ballot — all they will know is that you (and people like you) want to be represented. It might even mean someone awesome runs in your riding next time! Plus it gives you full right to complain about the elected officials! Don’t show up, and you don’t get to moan about it!
